TL;DR - Import some properties from 2D UI elements to Decals like stretching and offsetting them" Basically, take a decal and keep the ability to wrap around parts yet treat the face of the part like a screen that still responds to lighting.

This bumping and paraphrasing does not seem to be having a direct effect . Okay one more supporter please ? If you have other Gui-to-decal posts, you can list them here if you want . Or perhaps a suggestion to, as an example, jam a ClickDetector into a Decal . Feel free to take a look as the list is not that far and support for a Color3 setting has been okay here minimum .

Basically the idea is to still allow decals to wrap around the set sections of the surface of a part while being able to set how that section is taken up by that decal . Taking a shrunken transparent part with a decal will only work for if the decal is to show only the entire image when the part to attach the shrunken transparent part to is unobstructed from view . SurfaceGuis will only work on flat surfaces . SurfaceGuis also do not react to Lighting .
