Muslims vs Christians
Christians are continuously harassing the hell out of Muslims and Muslims have their own Jihad, religion in general will cause WW3. One of the more reasons to ban religion. |

Prophecy is not a very profitable career. So, no, no one knows what WW3 will be like.
But, I would imagine a WW3 would start in the Middle East. That is the powderkeg of the world right now, with various powers virtually fighting proxy wars in the region for control.
Actually, in all honesty I don't foresee a WW3 happening anytime in the near future. Russia doesn't want a war with the US, the US doesn't want a war with Russia, China doesn't want a war with either of them, same with Europe, etc. The major powers are content pushing each other's buttons in a relatively non-directly-confrontational way. |

Most, if not all the countries will abstain from nuclear warfare due to the concept of MAD.
Unless a really insane guy takes power in a nuclear country, and somehow he isn't checked by anyone else, which seems inconceivable, but, as a hypothetical.
Then we're screwed. |
