Hello Norfolk. I am going to cut to the point. The city is struggling. We are losing members. We need an active city council, and right now we just don’t. (besides a few) That is unacceptable and I am here to help change that. The city council is the most important part of the city and I am ready to take on that responsibility.
You may be wondering what I have served as in this marvelous city. I have been the Assistant Chief of the Norfolk City Fire Department, Director of Norfolk City Department of Transportation, and I currently serve as a Sergeant in the Norfolk City Department of Corrections.
I want to get things done. I will devote my time to this job. I will devote my heart to this job. Most importantly I will devote my mind to this job. Let’s turn Norfolk around and pass legislation the people want.
My inbox will always be open to new ideas and concerns. I am not a politician that thinks they are better than everyone. I am the opposite. I would argue I am below the citizen because they put me in this great office and they can take me out if I mess up. They are the ground of this great city. It is their ideas we must implement to improve the city.
Some of those ideas include sponsoring legislation or supporting it for tools for the hospital employees and to allocate funds to get NCDOC a new prisoner transport. I will also be looking into ways to get higher wages for our city employees who do so much.
