It is very simple and ROBLOX could do this very quickly.
Log out, and type something into the psswrd field, now try to copy it.
You can't copy it.
What ROBLOX needs to do is apply the same property to the comment text box field except block pasting.
Of course people could still type out their spam, but at the very least this would decrease the amount of spam they post because they have to type out each response which takes time.
This would probably take 10-20 minutes at most and would make ROBLOX loads better, honestly there isn't really an excuse not to do this.
Maybe I'm stupid but this might be a big step in the right direction!

There's 2 ways roblox could fix this spam problem:
1. This idea
2. Filter out words in the comments such as 'robux' or 'tix' (like they do with links) |

I also tested a very simple way to do this in HTML using inspect element that would take only like 2 minutes for ROBLOX to add, excluding site downtime...
While you could edit it, it would still stop a lot of noobs and also we could implement the same thing in javascript so it is harder to edit.

This wont work, people tend to spam using boats, therefore the boat can easily just type out the whole message in a matter of seconds before moving onto the next page, it's not a hard thing to do.
Unless you're talking about when people post stupid crap like "visit my game" which is usually an ODer trying to get a popular game copy pasting everything but I don't see this being a big enough issue for roblox to take action. |
