Now, before you say "sALT" or something like that, I am posting this on an alt because I don't want to get a possible ban on my main for saying this.
First, I'll be covering Devents and ROBLOX.
Over the years it's become quite evident ROBLOX has some obvious appreciation towards devs. I am nto saying that's bad, it's a good thing, because they work hard on games and they should get noticed, but I mean I can speak on behalf of alot of people when saying ROBLOX shouldn't just find random devs they like (Not going to mention anyone specific) and put some crappy meshes with poor retextures and throw them in their most mainstream game and call it an an event. Likewise, the Alvin And The Chipmunks event is happening right now and embodies what I just told you. I don't find it fair how ROBLOX just abandoned quality events and just decided to slander events by doing the "Devent" method.
What's the point of the "Games" account of the ROBLOX Team doesn't even use it.
It'd be understandable and acceptable if certain devs collaborated to make one good game for an event; hell, that'd be a good way to promote devs and make good events.
That being said, alot of users have hated this and rightfully begged ROBLOX to return to making the events but they continue to ignore us and downright insult us by continuing even though majority is against this.
It's just a really bad move on ROBLOX's part and I hope they learn eventually that this isn't a good idea for ROBLOX moving forward. |

they advertise the most embarrassing and childish things and then claim their events to be "fun".
when theyre hastily put together and lazy...
the prizes are always promotional garbage and make me want to punch myself.

Another major issue with events is the sponsors...
it's fine if roblox gives sponsors their own mini-events
but when you take up an entire roblox tradition -- that's when there is a problem

I'll have you know whenever I even mention the word "event", I get banned.
SlingshotJunkie confirmed that if I ever speak negatively about events again, I will get banned.
I can go into depth about how bad events have become. ROBLOX even claims that devs put "lots of time and effort" into the events... but no.
Heck, even the layout for the event page is lazy. How? They reuse the same design, but they slap another embarrassing sponsor all over it.
How are the games lazy? Well... the devs (take Cindering for example) keep hiding the prizes IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE! I found Snoopy the same place I found Alvin and my god, that's just a huge sign of laziness. The gears are absolute trash, what did they do to make these gears unique? All they did was take the Minion gear... change the mesh and add a new Billboard GUI! How amazing!
Oh, and do I even need to tell you how lazy the gears were during Summer Games 2015? Yeah, the gears break 99% of the time.

The updates this year have been great. There's nothing to rant on...
OH, AND SPEAKING OF UPDATES...
Even after they remove 6 month and lifetime BC, they're still scrambling for money... because they're that desperate.
