Here are my thoughts on the events this year:
Winter Games 2015 - Meh event, the event didn't do anything that special, it was mediocre at best and lazy at worst. We got decent prizes, but that doesn't redeem the event for the way it is structured.
Egg Hunt 2015 - It ranges between Good and Meh, this event was alright... the eggs were unique and were hidden good, they also looked really good! They made the meshes much smoother than last years, we got some creative eggs, but no faberges. :(
If they removed Twisted Murderer, it would have been a good event!
Ultimate Competition - Meh event, this event was downright BORING. The games were time consuming and not hard in the slightest... I can't call it bad because I had little-to-no feelings or sense of adventure for this event. Infact, if they didn't give us any good prizes, I would call this event bad! However, the prizes were nice so I can't call it bad...
ROBLOX Summer Games 2015- BAD. BAD. BAD. This event was hasty and rushed as hell. The prizes were 2 gear that break 99.9% of the time in games and are uncreative as hell. The hat prize was a lazy and poor retexture of the Minion Goggles. Do I need to go any deeper? It's quite clear this event was bad.
Disney Infinity - Good event, this event shows us how to do a sponsor CORRECTLY. The prizes were awesome, but it's not something I'd wear. The games had some effort put into it (We aren't going to see that for a LOOONNGGG time) and the gameplay was enjoyable! It's a good event!
Hallows Eve 2015 - HORRIBLE. This event was nothing more than a hype-up-for-nothing. When I found some assets for Halloween, I was like, "Is ROBLOX going to actually make an event theirselves? Time to get hyped!"... and when the event released... I went upstairs and smashed my NERF guns (nah i didnt do that). This event was downright lazy and glitchy as hell! The prizes are nothing more than promotional garbage that no one will or ever wear! Davidii and Quenty even said this event was a disappointment and they were hoping to save ROBLOX events.
BLOXgiving 2015 - It ranges from Meh to Bad. This event... I have mixed feelings for. The prizes are retextures of previous hats that actually show some signs of effort. The games actually relate to the event and were a little enjoyable? The prizes aren't something I'd wear... but they aren't bad either. So... I have mixed feelings overall.
ROBLOX Holiday 2015 - Worst event this year. Why does this event even exist? Seriously? This is nothing more than an embarrassment, isn't the franchise dead? The prizes are gears that're ONCE AGAIN THE MINION GEAR WITH A DIFFERENT BILLBOARD GUI AND MESH! The games are absolutely lazy and are downright easy. There was no sense of adventure and/or challenge. What an excellent way to end the year! This event was terrible. We got the SAME games yet again, SAME prizes, and SAME amount of laziness. The sponsor they chose got a horrible rating in the end and I'm pretty sure if I told my friends who play ROBLOX about this sponsor, they would quit immediately.
Overall, 2015 was a horrible year for events.
We only got 2 good events, 2/3 whatever events, and 3/5 (may include ultimate competition) bad events!

(At least five sentences). well i deserve it cause I'm a deticaded firemen . i do whatever it takes to do things right . i push myself do do better in trainings . i do what I'm told as long as i being treated fair like for example( LR or trainees aren't aloud to drive in one of my groups but trainees and fire fighters drive in the group when they ask but when i ask i can't ) so if I'm treaded fair and right i will do what i ned to do
Question 7 - Do you know anything about paramedics or anything about EMT'S ? (It's ok if you don't, we will train you everything to know on the job!). i know enough of fire fighting and a little bit of ems

stop with roblox, boycot this Schl3tsch3l. if you want to play games, buy them on steam, those games are much more better than this. If you want to build games, then start using unity/unreal/gamemaker. |

I've changed my mind on devevents. I think they can be better than admin-made events, but atm, I have no feelings towards them. 2015 was an okay year, not a bad year. I knew that ROBLOX would make great events again. EH2016 was fantastic. Battle Arena is slightly bad, not horrible.

I'm sick and tired of all of you kids and your ill informed generic opinions on events. ROBLOX does listen to us, I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself on this. They do listen to the community, they just don't take the terrible advice that this community gives to them. They are the professionals, not you, not me or anyone else. They've built this website from the ground up, I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing. |
