Now now, put down your torches and pitchforks. And listen to my suggestion!
ROBLOX has been under a lot of fire in its community for the issue of the Economy dropping like a rock, and with the game pushing more and more expensive items on the catalog, I feel like an economic overhaul will be best suited for fixing the ROBLOX economy.
The overhaul will be best described with this Acronym:
Refresh
Establish
Acquire
Persist
or REAP.
How these all work?
Refresh: A complete restart of ROBLOX’s Economy, everyone starts out on equal footing. And all the Surplus money gets put into a virtual “Vault” which can be redistributed after the Economy settles.
Establish: By setting a baseline value to the economy, and consistent usage of it, we can further the process.
Acquire: Once the economy settles, players money that was taken during the Refresh phase is given back to those players.
Persist: If the economic problems continue, alterations to the REAP plan can be made and repeated as necessary.
ROBLOX needs to do something about the economy, when 100 tix’ value in ROBUX has been halved in only a few years, an issue arises. So I made the REAP plan to better the money problem in ROBLOX. Thank you for getting this far and spending your time reading this forum.

How would this fix anything if you take everyone's money and give it back to them later? |
|
|
|
Because if the economy is settled, we can (incrementally) give them back the money they lost.

I don't see the point. What will this accomplish, exactly? |

Only one problem with that. If you like having items and do not want everyone to have them, you hate communism. |

terrible idea
PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS KNEETOHEAD |

This idea is highly not supported.
This can potentially cause users to sue ROBLOX for currency purchases being removed.

Hm... Interesting, I agree about the economy dropping like a rock, soon we'll be in a depression, and we don't want that. |

But taking away everything... I'm not sure about that.
My reasoning:
What if someone spent years getting these expensive hats and then got all his/her hard work taken away by "REAP"
The vault idea is a bit strange, and very dangerous in some ways. If someone decides to hack ROBLOX again during "REAP", that vault is easily hackable, and instead of only stealing one account's money, the hacker get's ALL ROBLOX's money. |

Unless the "vault" is "crypted"(i.e unreadable without a p__word)
[Insert siggy here] |

The vault being crypted would make it tougher to hack, but not unhackable. |

this is because there are so many free accounts playing, this means every one of those accounts gets 10 free tickets a day. the more people playing the less tickets will be worth since there will be more of them in circulation.
(this is a example)
year 1 = 1000 users -> 3500000 free tickets
year 2 = 2000 users -> 7000000 free tickets
year 3 = 4000 users -> 14000000 free tickets
year 4 = 8000 users -> 28000000 free tickets
year 5 = 16000 users -> 56000000 free tickets
And this will get higher and higher exponentially over the years. |
