Greetings America,
I am currently being re-elected as a member of the House of Representatives.
After two months of being in my 2nd consecutive term in the House it is time for me to run again.
I'll talk to you about my accomplishments during these two months and what I'm planning to do during my next term as a Representative.
These two months have been great in my case, mostly because I managed to pass great legislation in the House, established House Committees (Judiciary, Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Armed Forces is on its way) and represented the needs, requests and problems of citizens on the floor of Congress.
Also, from my previous position of Minority Whip of the House I managed to become the Speaker of the House of Representatives in a minority. That is an important thing to mention, because I got not only Republican votes, but also a bunch of votes coming from the Democratic Representatives who trusted me enough and decided that I am the right person to lead the House.
Two of my legislative projects during this term were the Self-Defence Act, which passed both Chambers of Congress and will go for a veto override soon. Even though both the House and Senate passed it with a positive and extremely good vote (7-0-3 in the House and 6-1-0 in the Senate), the President seemed to decide that you don't deserve self defence and vetoed the bill. Another project of mine was the Legislative Council of the House and I co-sponsored a couple other legislative projects as well.
Citizens, during my time in the House I realized that nothing is what it seems to be and I say this from the highest seat in the hierarchy of the House. Corruption exists. It's real, and it comes from those you least expect. I've been fighting it and I still am. There are different people who, unfortunately, control Congressmen to do their dirty work and that's something that infuriates me. However, I have good news: I did manage to change the mind of many Congressmen who were at some point influenced and right now I am starting to become proud of most of the House. I did manage to bring harmony to the House and more unity than we had with the previous leadership. Of course, you can't please everyone (we all know that) :P.
In my next term I have three main objectives to accomplish:
- Talk about gun control, the way people deserve to be armed and defend themselves (the self-defence act played a role in my fight to let people be armed; it is a major problem that criminals have everything they want and you can't so you get instakilled juts by walking on the streets).
- Create a new constitution - this is a huge topic and I'll cover it when the time is right. The current constitution has almost unlimited loopholes that are being used daily in courts and with different occasions. It ties the hands of the judicial branch which knows that the current constitution isn't necessarily the best we can have, and most of the high ranks know the same. I'll spend time with competent people and establish a constitution that truly defends civil rights and keeps things running in a smooth and legal manner.
- Fight abuse - abuse keeps happening. Over and over again. It's eternal, but it can be 'chained' and lowered in extreme manners. Abuse comes from unlawful detention, agency rogues and high ranking officials crushing your rights to harassment and other types of abuse that exist (again, when the time is right I will present a good legislative project for America).
There are a few other projects I have in mind, but currently these are the main concerns I have.
Regarding our military: I will start with the establishment of a Congressional Armed Forced Committee and I'll personally encourage AND HELP its members to support, assist and work with the army. I also believe that the new Secretary of State will have a heavy word to say because I saw his plans and they are great.
Anyway, I'm a Republican. These are my views and plans. Yes, I speak freely like we're friends, I don't make long and political type of speeches because people don't want to hear false promises, but see real work getting done.
