Perhaps you are merely unaware of the massive issues which exist in this country and do not exist in a large number of other 1st world countries, such as institutional corruption, massive political fraud, unsustainable economy, GROWING ECONOMICAL AND SOCIAL INEQUALITY (in capital letters because this is especially important), and failure of regulatory agencies. |

Even if people like me do not actively initiate a revolt, others of differing ideologies will do so.
Think of the radical right wingers, christian fundamentalist militias, etc etc. Our nation is becoming more and more politically divided by the year, and if this continues, history has shown that our country will experience some kind of extreme social upheaval. |
