When it comes to evolution, I believe it can't be proven, but I also believe people can't disprove it. Why? Because both sides have no true evidence to support their claim. So basically agnosticism applied to the theory of evolution. The unseen ban is the deadliest.

Jokes aside. That's why evolution is a theory. We have some proof but not enough to say that it's true.

It is simply a "logical" explanation for natural phenomena. Your naivety is quite evident, given that you do not recognize that the entire structure of scientific knowledge orientates around objective analysis. Also, this is relevant to biology, considering that it describes inheritance of mutations throughout various generations, whereas religion is solely subjective.

I agree. But I can be very skeptical about what people will say about Christianity, too. As long as your teacher does not force the students into his dumb theory, then it's ok. I don't like to see other people being forced into other things, especially if they do not believe or are not ready yet.

evolution as a mean of the origin of different species definitely happens and there is near unanimous (97%-99%) scientific agreement of its working, along with the fact that it's been observed in recent times origin of species and origin of life are separate topics

Why didn't you ask your science teacher if he or she believes in God? I mean it is worth asking because they are many Christians who believe in evolution.

"Jokes aside. That's why evolution is a theory. We have some proof but not enough to say that it's true." err, we have enough proof to say it's true "A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is acquired through the scientific method and repeatedly tested and confirmed through observation and experimentation." which evolution is a scientific theory and that would pretty much say it's confirmed as true we can't say though that evolution is a law which would mean it happens the same way under the same conditions every single time ;)

>As long as your teacher does not force the students into this dumb theory, then it's ok. I don't like to see other people being forced into other things, especially if they do not believe or are not ready yet. About 60% of my high school is filled with apostolic people and the science teachers are still required to teach evolution to every student in the school, because biology is required to graduate my high school. My biology teacher last year said before we began the unit and I quote, "I don't really care what you believe. I have to cover this and you will follow with it, and I know you will follow with it because there will be a test on this information." The unseen ban is the deadliest.

"can the social justice warriors please leave my forum kthxbai" are you a troll or no there are actually people who act like this who think their ideas are so "red-pilled" and inherently correct that they don't need to argue anything logically, and just use infinite ad hominem attacks, so it's hard to differentiate
