Can't use a mouse, since mine is too loud.
Using a laptop keyboard is bad enough, but I seriously can't use this trackpad. |

Then go outside and "get a life" if you can't play.

@raven
It's 2:48 AM here. Good time to go outside, huh?
@asf
I wish I could, but ergo mouses and modern trackballs cost too much, and "oval" mouses just hurt my wrists. |

Then wait till it's later to go outside.

trackballs are great and i highly recommend them
they're so comfortable
but i still use a mouse for various things, like paint.net and video editing
still, trackballs are cheap, i got mine for $15 online (it's a logitech marble mouse) |

Just purchase one online and read the description thoroughly so it can suite you. |
|
|
btw, the buttons on my logitech marble mouse are completely silent and you don't need a mousepad or space to move the mouse around, so trackballs are great with laptops (and desktops too)
i've also noticed that i have absolutely zero wrist pain now |

Sorry for the late(ish) bump, but if I'm already experiencing carpal tunnel pains, should a trackball/sideways ergo reduce this? |
|
|
Raven, maybe you should go outside and get a life instead of telling people to go outside. |

"but if I'm already experiencing carpal tunnel pains, should a trackball/sideways ergo reduce this?"
Yes it will. Also remember to never type with your wrists laying on the desk. Keep your hands floating during typing. It's fine when you're not typing, just when you're typing is when it's bad. It causes carpal tunnel like crazy. |
