I'm a Java geek myself. C# is super awesome when doing Unity stuff or stuff in Windows. My professors are making me learn Perl and C for Linux stuff if you find that kind of thing interesting. You could be some kind of masochistic person and learn some Assembly languages - there's all kinds of simulators for them. If you go that route, learn MIPS; it's a fun little Assembly language a lot of professors teach in college. SPIM is the best simulator for that one. If you like web development stuff you could learn some PHP and goof around in WordPress. That's always entertaining. JavaScript is handy for web stuff too; you can make 3D games with three.js, but I recommend finding a good framework for three.js rather than making one yourself if you do. You could learn Ruby, or RUST. Python is cool for AI stuff. You could go crazy and learn Lisp or some dialect of it.

I'd say C++ or C#. If you plan on making games outside of roblox, C++ is great because not only is it typically considered industry-standard, Unreal Engine 4 uses C++ as its primary language. UE4 is a very powerful (free, with 5% royalties if you make over $1000) game engine which I personally like.

Oh, UE4 is open source too. It's pretty nice
