We've finally finished the exterior of buildings and set up the lighting, fog, and ambient.
Thoughts? Please note that we will be adding interior (along with extra little details to the outside) as we go.

Thanks for the feedback!
Hopefully it will be a full fledged game soon enough.

Thanks!
Initially it's purpose will be similar to that of venezia. In the end, however, it will be a major location of a space simulation story-driven rpg. We're releasing the game in chunks though since it will be years before all of that is done.

Four months? That is an awfully long time, but the end result looks amazing. Keep up the good work!

@Uncomf
We had a total of probably a month and a half if not 2 in which we weren't working on it for various reasons.
@Flur
Thanks m8

honestly its OK im not going to say its amazing sorry but the main issue I have with it sadly is that its blue way to blue IDK where this neon blue idea of the future came from but unless everyone in this future is a fanatic about blue idk. I think maybe adding different colors for each type of building would be a decent idea, like industrial being red transport yellow, housing blue, health green, and so on but thats my opinion |

The future is so dark I climbed onto a building and jumped into the void.

Uhh... what he said^
Isn't the dev speed a little too slow?If you plan to make a game of the magnitude you say then in four months you finished one small detailed map?What about all the scripting and other planets?
The map style is brilliant but you should probably reconsider what you and your team need to focus on. |

Alpha is right I recommend having one person working on the map layout and making simple buildings like you have while one goes around making each building having details and such and another person works on lore and another on scripting. Even one people taking four hours to perfect each building one by one would take less then four months. Making a map as simple as you guys did it would only take a few hours honestly |

Suppose I'll repost this reply I made earlier:
"We had a total of probably a month and a half if not 2 in which we weren't working on it for various reasons."
Those reasons including thumb surgery and some devs being grounded due to grades. (We've got a junior high schooler)

This looks so amazing, what a beautiful piece of work. |

No offence but 2 months is still way to much time for what you have here. This is at most a 1 month job at most and thats saying like only working on it for 2hours a day |

Like it, although it won't let me go into third person.
So 9/10.
Also, if you would like some help on the interior I am here. |

@danny
It's hard to judge how much discipline it takes to continue on a build like this due to it's size. I'm assuming, based on your profile, that you never have. I appreciate your advice, but until you have something to back them up with, it doesn't mean much to me. I'm glad that we made it this far, honestly.
@ryan
I'd need to see a portfolio of yours, since your only active place is a free model of 1dev2.

I'm currently working on a huge cruise ship it in it self is probably the size of your whole map all together and yet i still think its bigger. I'm in a dev team also meaning I don't post the whole maps to the public because its for a game. Also I work alone if I had some one with the game skill as me building we could make 3 cities like that with fully interiors and such within a month. No ones saying you suck all we are saying JUST AS WAS TOLD TO ME WHEN I STARTED... Work on you speed, that's all don't get cocky with me kid when you asked for a opinion. And my showcase is only for small models :3 its basically a portfolio. Ps: you map is made on flat ground thats simple in its self. |

"Kid"
*sigh
Yes, I did ask for an opinion. I got yours. Then, you got a god complex and posted the same thing several other times. You joined a year after I did. I PROMISE you, I am more experienced at building, which only matters in cases like this where you have for some reason developed the idea that you are better than I am. You have a lot of talk, and not much to show for. Not trying to start an argument, but seriously, sit down.
