"Dial-up was honestly hell" I disagree entirely. Dial-up is much more efficient than the Internet mechanisms commonly utilized by service companies.

"Dial up = Only some KBs per second" You should be very thankful that you received the undeserved privilege of using such an advanced service. Naturally, it is unnecessary to transfer a significant quantity of data in a short interval of time. Dial-up merely allows you to use logical-reasoning when using the Internet.

"It took 18 seconds for 1MB file to download" Yes, that is the purpose of using such an efficient system. It allows you to accurately determine which files are the most crucial to be downloaded. I frequently used Dial-up as often as possible, and I would recommend that you consider switching to the "primitive" network. Truly, it is very naive of you to rely solely on Broadband connections that are easily flawed.

The sound was amazing though, I want all computers to make that sound when starting up.
