Animals aren't like us superior humans. They can't think or have emotions they are simply beings driven by instinct. Killing an animal is no different than destroying a brick. |

Bricks can't produce warm fur, or tasty meat. |

How can you look into a dogs eyes and say that it doesn't have a soul, or that it can't love.
Unless you have never had a pet, you can probably agree. |

>they cant think or have emotions

dogs are not sentient.
"but dogs act guilty when you're about to punish them"
thats because they know you are less likely to punish them if they act guilty
you underestimate the power of the dank side |

Unless we make a meaty brick with a hyde, then they are equal. If we could produce animals by the brick that would be neat. |

It is unethical, Animals have a form of intelligence. Humans are just the smartest animals. But we are just that, animals, we aren't different from them, but we are the same. |

harming a domestic animal is pretty cruel, as they have more emotion than most other animals due to them being raised by sentient beings.
harming a bird or something on accident however isn't a big deal. |
|
|
It is quite simple: Hedonism.
Animals merely provide pleasure to the individuals "protecting" them, thus they are valued extensively.
Whether this is personal-comfort or edible resources, animals are considered a necessity for human use.
This is why individuals regularly advocate for "humane" animal-processing within production facilities, despite the explicit fact that the animals are essentially being "murdered" for greed. |
|
|
Dogs still have emotions. Whenever a dog sees its owner(A good owner), it sparks the same chemical in their brain as in ours when we are in love. And you say that isn't emotion?
{It is estimated that a quarter of life's pleasurable moments involve cheese in some capacity.} |

All you guys care about are dogs... |

The title and thread description use the term "Animal."
The use of the term "dog" was merely an example of a common animal. |

An animal has no moral values. They do not know what is right or wrong. Everything they do is by instinct. They are not the same as humans, and should never be considered the same. |
|
|
well I'm pretty sure if you were that dog you wouldn't want to be beaten either |

"animal has no moral values"
Elephants, rodents, dolphins, and dogs, all have emotions such as empathy as has been shown in a multitude of studies. Morality is based off of empathy.
Also we are animals, to be correct humans are classified as great apes. |

Are you sure you didn't mean memory? Also, all of the things they do are because of instinct. |
