Greed We humans, according to Libertarians and free market advocates, are naturally greedy. This means they think we’re anti-social psychotics. I find something strange about this. We humans are social creatures. Anyone with basic logic must then recognize that we want to help other humans, meaning, we humans aren’t naturally greedy. They’ll fight back saying “greed is something you see in all humans. Therefore, we must conclude we ARE greedy.” Well this is something I find to be half-true. We DO see greed in other humans. However, greed isn’t something that comes naturally to us. We are robbed of our altruism at an early age. By what exactly? By the promise of wealth. We are told at a young age, that if we work hard enough, we can be like the rich. This does two things. It keeps the working class in line, as they think they’ll manage to get some wealth later in their lives, and instills the greed. “Well greed is good!” says the insane free market advocate, “look at all the things it’s given us!” Alright. Let’s go along with this. What has greed given us? Nothing. Greed isn’t something that makes, or produces. Humans, however, do just that. Do we humans create for our own personal gain? Yes, but that’s hardly greed. If it were greed, the product wouldn’t be in the market. Just the existence of the product in the market, shows that other humans are altruistic enough to put it out there to share with other humans, and not keep it to themselves, as a truly greedy person would do. The truth about greed is, it’s not natural. We don’t want to live by each other misery, like the objectivist, or Libertarian says, we want to live by each others happiness, or at least we would, if the capitalist system didn’t rob us of it first. _________________________________________________________________________ Credits: http://thepartisan.weebly.com/

Wrong, website. The only people I have seen that say humans are greedy are you and your other communist buddies. It doesn't matter what you naturally are, society will change you into whatever. You are grim correct?

No, I am not Grim. And there have been no true-communist who act like so: Example: Josef Stalin - Only wanted power, he got it..but only used Communism to archive power.
