My best friend on roblox is super popular, and I am not popular, like, at all! I love RoCitizens, so I am thinking of making a game that is kinda like RoCitizens, but I do not want my game to be super, duper popular. I just want it to be popular enough that I got 100+ visits. I still need to become better at scripting, but I have no idea how Firebrand1 scripts. So can you guys help me with some scripting things? Do you guys have any tips for becoming more popular? Also should I save my money for OBC? I do know one skill for being popular though, becoming good at many games. Do you think making a RoCitizens game will get me popular? That's all! No hate comments pls

It's a good idea to make a game that's actually fun. What I mean is, don't go off making a game like "Live life in a 5 Star Modern House with a family". Even if it was scripted/built all by yourself, it'd be pretty boring.
Make something new and never done before. There's a lot of life sims out there, and most of them are amazing in the sense of bringing new things into play.
Difficulty. If the game's too easy, not many are going to want to play it. Don't give away 1M (insert currency here) for the newbs.
Apart from the above, you'll just have to make ads and hope for the best.

Advertising your game might make it a little more popular, if it's similar to RoCitizens it probably wont make you popular as people would rather play the original, I got 1000 visits by making lots of friends, and they just seemed to explore my profile and try my game :)

wiki for the basics, after that look up some tutorials, and then once you get enough knowledge, look at models filled with scripts, like a weather system.
Learning Lua is just like learning a new language, it is hard work. but the method I told you is how eople learn it. Also, even for scripting masters, you can always learn something new in lua.
