I've done some lurking on it before because I have so many friends that use it, and what you guys describe it as are blogs I've seen only once or twice in the 2 months I've used it. honestly though, what's the problem? tumblr is like a quiet version of twitter I think, I like it. |

the only thing that you hear about stuff is negative stuff.
like people saying atr is horrible or c&g is horrible, you gotta go there and you can find the right people and stay away from the negatives.

there was one blog where this girl was "offended" where a female antagonist got defeated in some third rate movie
"the misogyny in society is RISING WE NEED FEMINISM etc"

I think the reason why people hate it is because it's sort of associated with a few fandoms that many people don't like. |

@0nesh0t I know what you mean. I've ran into a couple self harm blogs, they were kinda off putting, didn't want any more internet for the day. I've just learned to filter those blogs completely, and now I'm having more fun reblogging everything I see. |

Crazy fandoms, SJWs, and overall just a bunch of 'crazy' people. There's nothing wrong with Tumblr if you stay on the right side and keep most of your 'different' opinions to yourself.

Most tumblr users are avid supporters of feminism, and equal rights, and apparently that isn't OTs cup of tea.
Besides that, it's nothing controversial and it's just a bunch of fandom material. Nothing wrong with it.

That's what is so great about tumblr. If you have a quality, well put together blog, you'd have a decent amount of followers. If you don't, no one cares. |
