Last Saturday my computer shut off on me and it decided to die on me. It is a TOSHIBA laptop and when I tried to turn it back on it wouldn't go past the intro screen and it then said "no bootable file found".

Right now I'm using my mom's laptop which is a Samsung laptop which runs on Windows 7. And her laptop is slow as hell.

It's something to do with the hard drive, there are OS discs which come with some laptops, you can also get a free one, but when the issue happened to me I had to get a new hard drive.

You can replace the Hard drive yourself or call a Computer Expert to replace it.

Toshiba is probably the cheapest and most crap brand that you can get, so I would expect that it just fails for no reason at some point.
