Why does it "suck so much"? Because it's far more unique and complex than mainstream pop music, and requires much more talent to produce than an auto-tuned rap song with generic lyrics about 'rollin' in da hood'?
If you are going to say that an entire genre of music sucks, at least give some reasons for it. If you can't do that, then at least try to be more respectful when stating your opinion (eg. "I really don't like metal music. It just doesn't appeal to me"). |

I don't want to hear about racism Aristotle wrote a esay about it and being born in a blank state with would compel all people to be racist agenst others, yet the Scientific comuntiy doesn't accept it.. yet. Autotuned music and or computerized beats is where it is. My favorites are Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa, Jay Z, Katty Perry, Miley Cyrus, and who ever sings She Wolf. |

Mendezio, you sure sound like a jerk form those posts. You can like and dislike who and whatever you want; there is no problem with having a different opinion. But insulting those who like the metal genre, saying that just because nobody in your school likes it (which I highly doubt is true, unless you're homeschooled or in a schoolhouse in which there is only one classroom) means that it is junk? That's called ignorance, and unless you want to be hated by everyone you meet, then try to abstain from making such rude and incorrect statements. |

Well, I respect everyone's opinion here.
Well even though you don't like classic music, just at least respect it. Most of the music we enjoy today are influenced by those classics. We have to think back of our roots. Forgetting it is like forgetting who our parents are. Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa, 's music wouldn't be exist if it weren't for those classics. One of pop music's origin is Jazz and Blues. Take away Jazz and Blues, none of your favorite artists' music would exist.
So let's wrap things up, you don't have to like classical music, just at least respect it. |

@mendezio. u know u r acting like a fool. u say all those mainstream pop artists are more unique then metal is. so basicly u like that music and thats your opinionand thats your right to have an opinion. but like i said becareful of wut u say. cuz people like artists like lady gaga for mostly how she looks. and all those other bands too. and sure people liketheir music too. and sure the sounds and beats r unique.
but like u said the music is computerized except for the singing. so the only talent there is singing and audio technique. as far as metal goes the beats r faster by a lot. and the beats and sounds r made by instuments not computers.
so yeah both genres are probably unique but the difference is metal requires a lot more talent. so think about that the next time u talk about metal. :) |
