Awards don't matter. Usually the bands and artists that gross the most money win those. If they were more objective, The Bends by radiohead would have won an award in 95. |

um they kind of do
grossing a lot of money shows that an artist is making that money because they're pretty good at what they do in their genre (and what they do period)
awards are proof that they're not only objectively better but also pretty talented in their genre
with what you're saying, you're saying that Daft Punk didn't deserve the Grammy for album of the year with Random Access Memories and let me tell you they definitely deserved that award because of how much time they took to produce amazing music (they paid attention to every little detail of each song, making sure it was perfect for them) |

Then explain how some really bland artists win awards like Selena Gomez and Arianna Grande. They may have not won grammys but they have won awards. And I don't hate Fun, I think there good. I just personally prefer Passenger, there music speaks to me more then fun. But I do think fun makes some really great music. |

they make good music for their genre, if you think their genre is bland than obviously you won't think they deserve the awards |
