Lets not pretend here. The solid modeling tool is a good start, but it is absolute garbage as far as its capabilities. It is no coincidence that we have not seen more detailed games on here that don't require a super computer to play.
Things that need to be fixed
(because the tool is bad enough that we can say "it is broken".)
1.) More precise merges/cuts. This may sound ridiculous, but I don't think having to move a piece 3 studs out or make it 3 studs bigger to weld/cut is reasonable in some circumstances. This alone would vastly improve the tool.
2.) Look into game crashing merges/cuts. These mainly happen when you get "close" to the triangle limit and by close, I mean almost 1/8th of the way.
If you make claims that you can reach some 1800 triangles using this tool, you should be able to make good on it.
Now if you disagree with me, and I mean you REALLY disagree, then I'd like you to SHOW ME what you have done with the CSG tool. |

Ok, so after some even more extensive testing, the only parts you will NOT have a problem with are the basic blocks. No triangles, no spheres, no corner pieces. JUST BLOCKS. Is this reasonable to you? |

Unity is bad except for low-budget indie games.
CSG has tonnes of minor and very annoying issues. It can only go well under set-conditions.

With an extensive catalogue of hats and gear, I think we can forgo releasing new ones, however the ones responsible for producing the hats are likely not the same people responsible for the CSG tool.
Why would we need better groups? What aspect of groups is low grade that we would need to improve upon?
You can't fix people. There's even a rule on it. Not in the way we have stated, but its loose enough that the pious moderator can twist it however they deem fit.
What would we need an extra forum for?
@Therobot: I'm not going to outright call you a troll. But no, you just haven't used the tool extensively enough to understand our frustration. The examples you have given consist of little more than maybe 10 or 12 parts at best. Not even closely comparable to the difficulties those who support have come across.
