Instead of deleting posts that break the rules, archive them

What I'm thinking is, posts that aren't blatant trolling or extremely offensive should not be deleted, but archived and locked so nobody can reply. If your account is 13+, you would be able to access the "archived posts" section and read the posts there. For 1 day after viewing the archived post you can not message the creator of the archived post unless the creator of the post accepts a message that is given out, to lower flaming of the creator. The creator of the post would be able to disable the messages and move them to a new tab in the messages called "Archived Post Message Requests" which would not add a message to your mailbox, and would be full of the people who have viewed your post.

Why would I want to read them? Because talking about politics and religon shouldn't be against the rules? I saw the "sttupid christians trying to convert with ads" and instantly agreed, but it got deleted before I could read it.
