Local Scripts on plugins

I ran sucessfully a LocalScript on a plugin But according to wiki, "A plugin will not run Local Scripts." http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Tutorial:Plugins#Create_Script Is it ok to run a LocalScript on a plugin?

There isn't a single reason you would use a localscript if it does work.

It's a script to work on multiple platforms (including studio), if local scripts are allowed, I could use only one asset for my needs (the plugin).
