Yeah the lighting could definitely use work.
Might go for some spotlights outside, definitely more lighting indoors.
As for rendering, I'd be a terrible teacher. If I were you, I'd download Blender and look up rendering tutorials. |

The base isn't large enough to really justify using it.
We also have an intact mech in the construction bay. |
