Oh my...Things have certainly gotten interesting. Well, Ottawa, Washington, and Colorado have all clinched Champions League spots, while Edmonton currently holds a tiebreaker lead over Baltimore for the final slot. Toronto, Oakland, Calgary, Radcliff, Omaha, and Minnesota will battle it out for 2 Europa League spots to join Edmonton/Baltimore. At the bottom, Cloud Nine and the ISL All-Stars will be relegated, but it's between Hartford and Victoria to decide who stays and who goes. Baltimore should pick up a win vs Cloud Nine, while Edmonton takes on Calgary in the final week with many qualification implications on the line. Should be a good one!

AND THAT IS IT!!! The final spots are set! With a win, Edmonton clinches the final Champions League spot and sets Calgary tumbling all the way from 6th to 9th, a sad end for Calgary, who had at one point been challenging Ottawa for 1st place. The Minnesota Stars go, shockingly, from 11th place to 6th, and Book will be celebrating tonight thanks to many things going his way. Toronto gets the final spot by goal differential, as Oakland, Calgary, and Radcliff barely miss out. As for at the top, Ottawa takes home the trophy, absolutely dominating on their way to a 15-point victory. Washington gets silver medals while Colorado gets bronze. It was a great season from everyone involved and I can't wait to see what happens in the offseason.

A heroic 3/4 save performance from Nastyeddie sees Victoria stay up on the final day despite looking nearly out of it 2 weeks ago. If Hartford won any of their last 2 games they would've sent Victoria packing, and Victoria needed to win their final 2 as well, a tall task to ask for a team that was just 11-21-4... |
