Small Javascript Question?

I was running some JS in the Console (in Inspect Element), and I figured out this: I can't run it over multiple pages. If I use window.location to change to webpage, all my JS disappears. it's mainly for my new bot i made the whole thing, it should work PERFECTLY fine. before I even cared about javascript, months ago, I found the code for a messager bot on youtube it worked, you simply put it into console but it stayed on the same page. if it could send PMs and stay on the same page, couldn't I post on the forums or friend request people while on the same page?
