This weekend, one of our 6th grade students, Arianna Mattson, passed away. We are deeply saddened, and our thoughts and prayers are with Arianna’s family and friends.
We will do all we can to provide support for our kids. There will be a support room with counselors available in our library this Monday, February 1, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and we are working to provide further support here at school throughout the week as well.
We want to be sensitive to the needs of our kids and families, so at Arianna’s family’s request and with their approval, we are sharing this information with you so you can communicate it to your own kids in your own timing as you feel is best.
