Pretty sure you don't have to go to school to be an USMC MP

Uh dude. MP's have a high responsiblity. You have to go to college for it. You dont just join the mp's. #CODE -- User = MagicRamenTheReturn Join date -- Late 2009 ACCOUNT DELETED --

You can be an Enlisted MP without any college, but if you do have college experience they'd probably take you as a lieutenant. I'm going through the Army recruitment process currently, and I can be an Enlisted MP with basic training and AIT (Job Training). I also have an uncle who was USMC-MP who had no college experience. Yeah, with a bachelors, it wouldn't surprise me at all for the Marines to allow you to become an officer. I'll only do 3-6 years in the Army, so I'm not going to bother with OCS, but if you intend on making a career out of the Marines, it may be something to look in to. Hit hard or don't hit

Okay so do I have the right mindset ? Do MP's over rule Enlisted privates ? I would expect them to overrule them because of the fact their job is to arrest those who break laws within the military. #CODE -- User = MagicRamenTheReturn Join date -- Late 2009 ACCOUNT DELETED --

MP's are given ranks, as well. Thus, my job may be Military Police, and my rank may be private, which in my case will be accurate. Thus, a corporal, whether he's an MP or not, outranks this private. So, as long as the corporal is not breaking the law, this corporal would be the private's boss (per-say). If the corporal does break the law, the MP, even though he may be a lower rank, does have the authority to arrest, fine, or otherwise punish the corporal. An odd system, but job training should prepare you for it. Hit hard or don't hit
