That's not the point. If this was allowed to happen, then it would open the gateway for even MORE stuff like this to happen, possibly even worse.
Thing is, the Fine Bro's "React" trademarks weren't even passed yet. In fact, there were like in this "review" phase (probably not the best way to describe it) and would have passed if nothing opposed it legally.
The Fine Bros screwed up... in that they didn't keep their mouths shut and announced it before it went through. If it went through, it would be much, MUCH harder for the trademark to be repealed. It was stopped before it was allowed to get worse.
Hopefully this event has scared other companies from trying this #### out, but of course it's inevitably going to happen again. With another company, with another trademark, abusing Youtube's broken system. But next time, said company won't say a word about it. They'll keep quiet until it's passed.
