So, I've seen forums (and games) that have a reputation system, and I thought it would be pretty cool to have a reputation system in ROBLOX.
And perhaps only staff/moderators could give reputation, and it could be displayed in-game on the playerlist (and perhaps the chat) and on the forum under Post Count.
Just a random idea I had :P

maybe instead of mods giving rep. then players can give it to other players
I know this will be abused a lot, but a simple fix is to make it so one player can only give a person 5-10 reputation
sort of like how you can only upvote or downvote a game once |

I don't think people will go through that amount of trouble just to give someone a little reputation
plus, as I said, it would be kind of like the voting system for games. people can make loads of alts to thumb down a game or thumb up a game, but roblox still implemented it. so obviously, roblox doesn't care about things like this where people can just make loads of alts.

and how, exactly, would giving someone reputation "destroy" them?
as I said, it should be kind of like the voting system. again, people can still make alt accounts to thumb down or up a game, and that would destroy someone more than reputation because you can actually do negative things.
giving someone something will in no way shape or form destroy someone. check your logic. |
