It makes my life unessecarily difficult by making me overreact™ about things other people would just ignore. Then if I'm lucky I'll have a breakdown and shut off from everybody else.

@Pony Oh it is even more fun when you have no friends and OCD to. I have a sort of friend who is also autistic we don't talk as she has selective mutism but we don't hate each other and currently she's having a breakdown over work experience which I myself just got on with. Really it's just an example of how different people can be on the spectrum.

@Maggy I'm already too dependent on others I'd rather not have to recieve support on something I don't need support on. Being able to do something by myself is a big thing for me.

Jesus OP no need to be passive with yourself I go insane when I do that. You know how many people I've beaten the crap out of because of this behavior? Lots of kids. Just accept the fact you want to die like I do and move on (I recommend obsessing over the life of a celebrity or a movie/video game/tv show person like I did)

@Spork It's fun to laugh at my own misfortune because it's not going away so sitting in a corner and crying ain't gonna do jack.

Exactly. All my jokes are at my expense, and everyone laughs. And I don't care, because making people laugh is the only thing worth wile now-a-days anyway.

I mean as a stranger I'd just appear quiet and reserved and teachers would just think "oh he just doesn't want to do his work", I've put up with that sort of ignorance for 16 years, I've only really just started getting the support I need now I'm diagnosed. My parents are brilliant I couldn't ask for better people but my teachers never supported my parents in getting a diagnosis. Now I'm starting to make myself sound more sad than I acfually am.
