The little three bar menu, the settings menu, the thing that pops up when you hit the ESC button, whatever else you wanna call it. I used to really like this menu. It was easily accessible, simple to find what you were looking for, fast to use. Roblox, you updated this menu. I don't like what you did to this menu.
When I used to open this menu, I would typically be wanting to edit my In-Game settings, quickly and efficiently. I was changing my graphics quality, mouse sensitivity, or volume. I want to do this fast so I can get right back into the game. The system worked, it worked quite well. But now, you put a list of in-game players as the default tab when I open this menu. What in the world. There already is a list of in game players! I can send friend requests without opening this menu! If I find a person who makes me think, "hey, i want to see this person another time, I will friend them!" I'm going to take the time that is needed to keep in contact with this person, if they are special enough. I admit, this tab was needed. BUT NOT AS THE DEFAULT TAB. It is incredibly obvious that settings should be the default opening tab, THATS WHAT A MENU IS. Keep your players tab, but move it to the side for the ever important settings. Or make it customizable so you can make your own primary tab or whatever.
tl;dr Settings should be the tab on the in-game menu that opens first. |
