The new chat bubbles are horrible in how far you can see the message. If you are about 10-15 studs above the person without pointing your camera down, you can't even see the message. The range is horrible. Extend it larger before, it makes it harder to see messages, especially when its only bubble chat. Please fix this, it'll be a whole lot easier.

It depends. It should be a dev's choice. If Devs want a large, visible bubble (ie games where talking happens a lot), then by all means, go ahead. But survival games where you just want regular bubble chat, and perhaps a really small message for "whispering" would need, again, a really small message. Make it a Dev choice and i'll support.

How is this scriptable without entirely revamping the entire chat system? Not everyone has the time to revamp the entire chat system.

Devs can limit the settings the person can choose(first person only, etc.). If this were to be passed, then it would be added as a setting.
