RT was supposed to ATR of days of old.
RT became too off topic and the moderates got tired of deleting and moving threads.
Eventually I think in 2012-2013 the mods got tired of having the subforums being vague, off topic, and simply not having the right communities in the right sub forums, and made the new forums as seen today, minus 2-3 subforums.
RT was supposed to get deleted and merged into ATR and OT, but RT wasn't having that, and the mods listened, and kept it.
It now stands for Roblox Talk, roblox coming to together and talking. The real question if what the difference between OT and RT is.
They're very different now, but in RT's conception, it was the same thing as ATR.
