they removed the safechat feature and instead made a new system where everything an adolescent typed became incomprehensible hashtags.

I'm aware, but this is the leftovers of that old system, it wasn't completely removed. |

yeah when the safechat menu was still in place if you typed /sc/sc your game would just crash lol

it may have not been completely removed but it was better than having kids have everything they say hashtagged.

I don't fully understand safechat? If you are under 13 years of age anything you say will be replaced with pound symbols? (Or "Hashtags" as mainstream media calls it.)
