Free Media Bill Written by Representative Disn1245 Introduction: It is not uncommon to see false or covered up news being spread by government news programs, such as C-SPAN. This is suppressing the free media. This needs to change. What this bill will do if passed: If passed, this bill will create a group that will be allied to the US. The job of this group will be to ally professional citizen run free media news agencies. There will be a guideline that will be created to make sure that only the best citizen-ran free media news agencies are allied. This guideline will be created if this bill passes. The chairman of the group will be appointed by the President and must be approved by the Senate. The owners of each citizen run news agency must be in the group and can post their news on the wall. The funding of the group, the ranks, the title, and the person who will create the group will be decided upon only if this bill passes. Reasons: This will allow citizen run free media news agencies to effectively deliver non bias news. This will allow news that has not been covered up by the government to be broadcasted as well. This would provide jobs as well, and makes the NUSA experience more realistic. Conclusion: Hopefully, this bill can be passed, as it would greatly benefit our nation. Signed, Representative Disn1245

PASSES HOUSE 3-2-2. Now let's just wait and see if the Senate tears this up.

why does a news agency chairman need to be approved by the senate? not every position needs to go through them.

This will never pass, you know why? Why would the corrupt government want to allow a news station that could expose their corruption to exist?

[ALSO] To all haters of this bill I would just like to say that back in 2014 a then representative named AlexRavenov presented a bill with the same main idea of this. People and Congress and even the President (whoever he was back then) back then loved it, and it was approved. When the bill was brought into action, it worked great. I remember NBC news or something had the "Grape Show" and my friend named Grapejumbo123 talked about virtual politics on it. I remember another news agency did this special edition on corruption, another had this show called NCIS and things like that. All of these were citizen run, bias free news agencies. Anyways, this thing went poof for some reason which I do not know to this day. Trust me, this bill is great and will work excellent.

People should really support this bill. We can not let the government control what we want to see. That's what the CIA did during the 1960's and 1970's and it messed up how America viewed itself and other nations. If we want freedom, when we should start by letting people control what we want to see and hear, not some lies.

Very good intentions, but more is needed. A lot of issues will arise from this.
