I will start this by saying I'm a builder, I build a lot but I cant script for the life of me. I'm building a giant underground detailed game on my alt, and lag is a problem for people with bad computers. I am trying to find a script that could reduce the lag My idea is a script that only loads half or a quarter of the map at once, so you dont lag, basically the game is underground so theres no point in rendering the entire thing because you cant see more than 1/16th of the map at a time. Does anyone know how to make a script that would only load the map in chunks (of 2/8 of the map at once?) And perhaps as you move it losds the next chunk so before you see it, it is already loaded. I would greatly appreciate some help with this, thanks!

Never heard of that, i will read it now thanks. Also note, this renderer needs to be client side, because it will be multiplayer

Interesting, would gun scripts, music scripts, spawning scripts etc elements of a shooter still work while this is on?

Local scripts will run into problems with parts not existing for them. That's about it.

It depends on how everything is set up. There is a "Local Scripts Restrictions" section of that wiki page that I linked to. Please read it to see what works and what doesn't.

None of the scripts are in yet anyways, oh also I am looking to hire a scripter for the game, if anyone is interested in being part of a cool project, please PM me
