An Innocent Game
It was a lonely, pitch black night when you were taken, asleep and unaware. There you were, in a dark and cold and misty room, arms tied up, your ankles stuck to the edges of the chair legs, your mouth completely gagged, and your eyes, though not unblinded, only able to see a faint light in the distance. You could hear the horrid groans of several other people, and felt the humidity of the air filled with sweat, which created an awful stench. Yes, this was very uncomfortable, and it stayed like this for several, unsettling moments, though it might have felt as if it was for hours. The room was tense and uncomfortable, and frantically, you wished you could just go home. Unsurprisingly, and surely, the other tenants of the room shared your opinion.
The lights flashed on, blinding you and the nearby victims. Eventually, you can see a dusty, though bright, and white room, void of any grime or dirt anywhere. The lights above are regular panel lights, like the one you'd see in most classrooms or office buildings. Throughout the room, all you could see were a bunch of people and a large plasma flatscreen TV embedded into one of the walls, with a person on it. This feminine-looking person apparently has rugged, blonde hair, each and almost every strand having a near resemblance to corn silk in terms of color, and it looks as if it's been carefully styled into a boring bun. The woman also has skin that appeared to be much whiter than most of the people watching, implying that she's fairly pale. She sported what appeared to be a happy face, for the most part.
She took the moment to cheerfully greet you, as if she is meeting you in person rather through a digital screen. "Good morning!" she called.
The lady proceeded to explain the rules carefully, with an uncomfortably pleasant, or maybe excessively creepy, smile. Though, these were less rules, and more general guidelines. She explained, "From now on, you're stuck here forever. So, it would be pointless to try to leave, as much as you'd want to! You're here for a special, super secret social experiment, to see how humans react in very stressful and humiliating situations. You will be seperated into two groups, and you'll go against each other in the games. And you'll comply with the games as well, whenether you like it, enjoy it, or not!"
A captive manages to spit out his gag with a cough. "The... Th-the games? Wh-Wha?! What the hell is going on here?!" he stutters.

The games.
A group of incredibly rich mistresses and misters was bored and decided to entertain themselves. Nothing seemed to be working, until one of them, Alice Dankwarmths, had an idea. Several strangers would be selected and kidnapped, placed in an unknown place, be forced to play for the entertainment, go through sickening journies, and perhaps enjoy several cups of wine, in possibly the most inane way. Of course, they would keep it a secret, but since it would be somewhere in the middle of nowhere, they were faitful that it could happen.
These games were set up for them to simply watch them, and to perhaps pick one to gain among the elites. It didn't matter their past, or their skillset, or their age, but if they had managed to survive and win this, the elites would award them everything they would wish for, without the responsibility needed.
Though only just the small minority were against the ideas, most of the other people were estatic. Forcing poor people against each other to play a deadly messed up game? The drama! The action! The bloodshed! They loved it! A ton of them even included many ideas as well for this strange idea.
Of course, it would be unceremoniously claimed a "social experiment" in their own words, but however, and ultimately, they all knew the truth about what petty events will break out.
---
The games worked like this: Each day, the group would be forced to play a game, which is different everytime, with different rules, different twists, and different prizes and bonuses for managing to survive through each of them. These bonuses might be either useless, like a doll, or slightly less useless, like a headstart in the next game, or perhaps a weapon.
The underlying teams would stay the same, however, to create competition, until the very last rounds, where it would just be a regular free for all. The teams, of course, are selected by the staff, or are randomly selected if they can't decide.
It worked like a schedule, where the group would be forced to survive through several games to win this one huge competition. They would have to constantly keep up.
Usually the games are something deadly and challenging, pushing the contestant's bodies and hearts to the limits. Other times, they can be ridiculous. Either way, they're meant to be very punishing and to push contestants to their absolute limits.
Once a certain amount of people die (usually just one or three), then the game is finished and is stopped immediately. The game also ends when it is finished to it's complete stop, and there is nothing more for it to offer. It could be either the fact that these games tend to either be pretty damn deadly, or very humiliating.
After the game is finished, there comes a break, either where the loser, multiple losers, or those who haven't died, get to decide the challenges included in the next game.
--
After the game ends, there comes a break, where the remaining survivors are allowed to take care of themselves in the aftermath. Usually a bathroom and some snacks are provided, but on occasion so can a TV, some wine, and some toys. This also provides an opportunity for the contestants to talk among themselves and discuss what's going on, along with some small talk. In some cases, there can be a bed as well, so they can sleep.
Then, after either a few minutes or eight hours of rest, they're ushered to another game area, where they can play their next game, where the cycle continues.
