Long story short a group of parents from another county is planning to sue all of the california department of education because apparently the kids with disorders (Autism, ADHD, ADD, etc) is not getting extra help there so they're planning to sue.
Alright, sounds good, nothing bad.
UNTIL THIS.
They plan on releasing a bunch of kid's private information to help their case.
This includes (From the teacher):
Social Security Number (WHY WOULD THIS BE NEEDED.)
Said kid's disabilities (Like autism, ADHD, ADD, etc.)
And some more that I'm not sure about.

It would positively I.D the kid, but they can't just hand that out. I'd hope it'd be a closed trial (if there's even a trial), and that only the proper people would have access to this information.
In my state, their case would be dismissed on the spot, but I know California is a bit out there.

I literally asked the teacher "Why would they need OUR info if it's in their county?" And she agreed with me on that.

Shows how stupid American's are and sue for anything... Also, they are basically going to sue the government and it's not their problem if they want to have these special programs or not! The parents are going to lose! |

They're not suing the government, They're only suing the department of education in California.
