Where do you get a linux OS at

Before you tell me google it I tried I have no idea where to get a linux OS or does it cost money to buy it? Idk I can't find the answers on google.

I deleted it but nothing happened vineshroomer :D I personally don't want linux but I never really knew where they came from.
