- This manual is the official Training Manual, used for all training purposes in GEIA. This manual is validated by the Kaiser. Use this manual to correctly host training's. An officer or senior NCO should be present to supervise the training. The training should be exactly in this order: 1. Musket Positions 2. Faces 3. Marching 4. Formations / Firing Commands 5. Battle tactics -(Only if in a Regiment)- 6. Raiding / Defending rules 7. Drum / Fife / Bugle Commands/Songs -(Only if Cavalry)- 8. Controlling of Horses 9. How to Fight on a horse _____________________________________________________________________________________________ - This Training Manual will now explain the listed procedures above - Table of Contents: I - Musket Positions II - Face Commands and Methods III - Marching Commands and Methods IV - Formation Methods and Firing Commands V - All Possible Battle Tactics VI - List of Raiding / Defending Rules VII - List of Drum / Fife / Bugle Songs and When to Play Them VIII - Horse Controlling Methods IX - Ways to Fight on a Horse _____________________________________________________________________________________________ - Chapter I - This chapter will explain the various types of musket positions, such as "Shoulder Arms!" and "Make Ready!", and tell you how to command it. Command Shoulder Arms:- Yell the command "Shoulder Arms!" Instruct the soldiers to press the [F] key. (NOTE) Usually, when you select the musket, it will go to an automatic "Shoulder Arms" position. It is not necessary to say "Shoulder Arms!" then. Command Make Ready:- Yell the command "Make Ready!". Instruct the soldiers to press the [H] key. Command Aim:- Yell the command "Aim!". Instruct the soldiers to either press the [F] key twice, or press the [H] key again. Command Fire:- Yell the command "Fire!". Instruct the soldiers to click the screen in the direction the enemy/target is in. (NOTE) For different firing commands, see Chapter IV Command Reload:- Yell the command "Reload!". Instruct the soldiers to press either the [R] key or click the screen again. Instruct them to also go back into "Shoulder Arms" position [F], unless the firing command is "Fire at Will" (See Chapter IV) or it is in a "Stagger" or "Arrow Formation" (See Chapter IV). Command Stow Arms:- Yell the command "Stow Arms". Instruct the soldiers to deselect the musket. Command Port / Support Arms:- Yell the command "Port Arms!". Instruct the soldiers to press the [N] key from the standard "Shoulder Arms" position. (NOTE) This command is usually the one to be used when patrolling a city. Command Guard Arms:- Yell the command "Guard Arms". Instruct the soldier to press the [G] key from the "Shoulder Arms" position. (NOTE) This command is usually given when marching into battle from the home base. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ - Chapter II - - This chapter will explain all the face commands - Command Center Face:- Instruct the soldiers to face you from any direction they were previously in. Command Right Face:- Instruct the soldiers to make a 90 degrees turn towards the right from their current position Command Left Face:- Instruct the soldiers to make a 90 degrees turn towards the left from their current position Command About Face:- Instruct the soldiers to make a 180 degrees turn or face the other way from their current position. -(USE ONLY IF ON THE BATTLEFIELD)- Command Eyes to the Right:- Instruct the soldiers to keep an eye out for any rambo enemy soldiers flanking towards the right Command Eyes to the Left:- Instruct the soldiers to keep an eye out for any rambo enemy soldiers flanking towards the Left _____________________________________________________________________________________________ ~eh i got lazy~ (Rest to come soon)
