Cartoons today just suck. Now, just to let you know, the best cartoons ever we're the 1930's, 40's, and 50's You know, like Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, and all that stuff. And the 90's we're my favorite, nickelodeon was great back then, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, and Rugrats. But today, they suck. They try to make them "Relatable". Since when we're cartoons supposed to be like that. The cartoons i grew up with, weren't relatable at all. And cartoons today, that try to be funny, try way to hard that they aren't funny. Some cartoons today that suck: Fanboy And Chum Chum, The Mighty B, Johnny Test, Flapjack (the laugh is about the same, if not worse, than spongebob's laugh (wow.)) I can smell the haters already

yeah i miss the 90's nickalodeon too. shows like animorphs, all that, slimed, and rugrats. but on cartoon network in the 90's were good too. shows like jonny bravo, courage the cowardly dog, cow and chicken, dexters lab; those were classic. disney was suckish in the 90 though. they should have a channel for all those older cartoons.

You would be over 100 if you remember shows from the 50's.

Don't they already have a channel for older cartoons? I remember back in the old days cartoons had guns (i.e. Batman TAS, Tom & Jerry) now they have Lasers. That sucks.

Also, why aren't cartoons today marketable? You know, make toys. I mean, was there anything more maketable than the Saturday Morning Cartoons from the 80's like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe, The Real Ghostbusters, and Transformers? The only toys that you see based on cartoons are the cortoons targeted to the really little kids. Like Nick Jr. But what about your 10 and 11 year olds? Sure I'm 13 and too old for toys, but it's something that has just seemed to dissapear.

My favorite kid's channels in order: Boomerang, ToonDisney and Nicktoons. Boomerang has all the classics. ToonDisney showed Recess, Weekenders, Fillmore, and stuff like that. NickToons WAS one of my favorites, but it put all the good shows on the night shift. Its to bad ToonDisney doesn't exisist anymore, It was WAY epic, and now its DisneyXD.

In the past some - SOME - cartoons were just rushed to make. Then they realized how important cartoons were to the media and started making them better. However, in todays day and age, it seems like a bad time to be a cartoon. When we hear the word 'Cartoon' we'd most likely think of cats and mice fighting and talking animals doing all sorts of crazy stuff, like outsmart hunters, chase after othewr animals for food, and maybe fight a German soldier from the Second World War or two (Daffy the Commando). Seems like a really bad time to be Cartoon Network, a not-so-good time to be Nick, and one of the worst times to be Disney (They threw away Mickey Mouse! How can you have a Disney without Mickey Mouse?) Are things going to change in time or stay like this?
