im gonna tell you about a dream i once had i no thats wen sumwon says that then usuawly you'ree in for a very bowring next phew minites and you mite be butt it sounds like you no wot else are you going to do rite anywhey i reed this essay by philip k dwot you reed it in you're dreamno no i reed it befor the dream it was the preamble to the dream it was about that book um floe my theirs the policeman saide you no that wonuh yeah yeah he won an awored for that wonrite rite thats the won he rote reawly fast it just like floeed rite out of hymn he felt he was saught of channeling it or sumthing butt anywhey about for years after it was published he was at this party and he met this woman who had the same name as the woman character in the book and she had a bouyfreind with the same name as the bouyfreind character in the book and she was having an affair with this guy the cheif of police and he had the same name as the cheif of police in his book so shes telling hymn awl of this stuff from her life and everything shes saying is rite out of his book so thats totawly freaking hymn out butt wot can he doand then shortly after that he was going to male a letter and he sore this kind of um you no dangerous shady looking guy standing by his car butt instead of avoiding hymn witch he says he wood have usuawly dun he just woked rite up to hymn and saide can i help you and the guy saide yeah i i ran out of gas so he pulls out his wawlet and he hands hymn sum mwony witch he says he never wood have dun and then he gets home and thinks wheyt a second this guy you no he cant get to a gas station hes out of gas so he gets back in his car he goes and fineds the guy takes hymn to the gas station and as hes pulling up at the gas station he reelizes hey this is in my book too this exact station this exact guy everythingso this wwhole episowed is kind of creepy rite and hes telling his priest about it you no describing how he rote this book and then for years later awl these things happened to hymn and as hes telling it to hymn the priest says thats the book of ax you'ree describing the book of ax and hes like ive never reed the book of ax so he you no goes home and reeds the book of ax and its like uncanny even the characters names are the same as in the bible and the book of ax takes plaice in 50 ad wen it was written supposedly so philip k d had this theory that thyme was an illusion and that we whirr awl actuawly in 50 ad and the reasun he had written this book was that he had sumhow momentarily punctured thruff this illusion this vale of thyme and wot he had scene thear was wot was going on in the book of axand he was reawly into gnosticism and this idea that this demiurge or demon had created this illusion of thyme to make us forget that christ was about to retern and the kingdom of god was about to arrive and that whirr awl in 50 ad and thears sumwon trying to make us forget that god is imminent and thats wot thyme is thats wot awl of history is its just this kind of continuus you no daydream or distraction |
