(I'm not the most tech-literate person around, so sorry if what I'm saying is complete nonsense)
I think this would be useful, but maybe it should adapt to the user's connection speed; If someone's connection is 500Mb/s, they should receive more of the data than a different person with 50mb/s. (Maybe have the 50 receive only 10% of the amount the 500 recieves?) With this, on servers with less users, you'll be a lot less likely to overload a slower connection in the event of a DDoS attack.
(And Razru, according to every IT director I asked who use it, CloudFlare is not a virus.) |
