ROBLOX has been getting very bad lately, and the bast thing we can do is try to make it open source. I believe that if the old 06-08 ROBLOX becomes open source, then we can manage to build another, better, game like ROBLOX.

You'd need servers worth thousands of dollars, you'd need hundreds of servers, you'd need enough money to market the idea, you'd need a full-proof security system, you'd need a moderation system, you'd need a base audience, you'd need hundreds of employees... you need to be a millionaire if you want to make anything remotely as large as ROBLOX. However I do agree with you, ROBLOX did become the nest to oders and hackers and they're engine has limitations.

Kid, this would cost a lot of money and would probably be copy righted and you would be sued till bankcrupt. Roblox offers free servers for NBC's, and multiple servers for bc+. So that's millions of servers, which is millions of pounds... Roblox also has really good developers, that require pay. Creating a new roblox would fail almost as much as that new hat is. Good luck! @Fox i agree but it would probs be over a billion. think about it, their are about 300 million accounts. each has their own game, some make more than one game. that = a lot of servers

It actually is both... some people use roblox to play it and some people use roblox to make games.

No, it is development software. People play games that were developed on ROBLOX, not playing ROBLOX itself. It's like calling Adobe Flash player a game, or calling Unity a game.

Roblox is a platform. Roblox is only this far because of its community, both its players and developers are important. Without players the developers would be useless and without developers players would not have anything to play. Developers bring in players to roblox and help roblox get a better image because of the games created by them. Players play games on roblox and use the roblox website, which gives roblox money, The Ads, The Builders Club Memberships, the Shop, etc. But yea I hope you get what I mean and realize what you are aiming for now.

Nobody would switch. The developers are happy here. They make up to 10k a month. I like ROBLOX how it is. They are slowly becoming better and better. Everybody does not like ROBLOX because of the nostalgia and other reasons. If we were little kids again and just joined we would be amazed by what ROBLOX is. Founder of DevTech.

Although, it would be nice to see the Roblox reputation change from perspective of people outside of the Roblox community. As an example, "Eww, you play Roblox... that games for kids." As this does happen with many games, I'd love to see roblox without this though popping into most peoples head when they hear the name. A new roblox could probably start afresh, without the bad rep and learn from the current roblox's mistakes, However, it would be really unsucsessful and most likely sued. how about triangle studs? Hmm....
