Okay I think cyber-bullying is stupid and unimportant unless someone is ultra-sensitive. As portrayed in the movie "Cyberbully", it affected Emily (the girl who got cyber-bullied) in real life, not just online. At that point, it isn't cyber-bullying. I feel as if this is a little bit misleading, because at schools and stuff they say that cyber-bullying is a huge issue when it actually isn't. Simply deleting an account and starting fresh is extremely easy and seamless. As for real life bullying, it is way more problematic as it is usually based in school, which people can't just easily change schools sometimes. In a sense, maybe cyber-bullying shouldn't be categorized as different from other forms of bullying, as what cyber-bullying seems to be defined as is a pretty easy thing to avoid.

well the thing about cyber bullying is people are more harsh online than they are in the real world. when you say something mean to someone online, you have no idea what they may be going through at the moment. text can affect people greatly

"well the thing about cyber bullying is people are more harsh online than they are in the real world. when you say something mean to someone online, you have no idea what they may be going through at the moment. text can affect people greatly" I have had extremely offensive things said to me, and avoiding/preventing it happen repeatedly was easy! When people don't know many things or anything about you, things can't really be taken seriously. If someone to begin with doesn't say anything mean about others, they usually don't get mass-attacked. If someone is just simply different and they get bullied, it makes the person bullying them look bad. But, the internet is so easy to have anonymity on. If someone says "wow u r ugly" that can hurt someone, but is that really something to dread on? Fixing a negative situation doesn't seem hard, like, at all :S

There is nothing wrong with aggressively trailing and insulting parasitic scum on the Internet. Only imbeciles will become easily provoked and tearful from such comments. Hopefully they mitigate the issue by killing themselves, which will cleanse the gene-pool. If you cannot handle negative statements, you should not utilize the Internet, as it is a medium for propagating opinions.
