My dad and family call me crazy but man I yearn to see tornadoes, impressive storm structures, and large hail. It's all very exhilarating... Sometimes I get extremely depressed if I don't get a thunderstorm. |

I'm sorry for the loss of relatives.. I know that some of you hate them because they have caused destruction. Thos storms I truly hate but the isolated ones are truly the beautiful ones. You should those ones, beautiful and isolated. |

tornado formations are interesting but i'm more interested in clouds and cloud formations |

Haven't seen a tornado and everybody (besides my weather friends) said you shouldn't ask for that... I'm like JEEZ, I don't want a tornado heading for someone's house or mine just want to see one hanging out in a field or something. |

i'm 9 miles west from a small town and they always touch down and move northeasterly so we usually watch them cross a field
i've seen most recently an ef-0 about a year and a half ago at night, only visible during lightning strikes, the funnel dissipated after about a minute
the last time before that was 2006 when a massive funnel looming a quarter mile over our house, it later touched down to the north and was recorded as an ef-4 |
