Legally theres only two groups, the minors, and the adults. Minors, range from birth to the age of 17. Adults range from the age of 18 to the day of their death There is no kid, teen, old man bologna, turning 13 doesnt make you special. You still cant legally work and is still in middle school. When you turn 18, then thats where things start getting real. You can work at better places, do things on your own, etc. Theres only minor and adult And 95% of you OTers are minors

you can work legally when you're 14, depending on where you are, and where you wanna work. "to the day of their death" what are you after you die? a ghost? since 2008 - add 41k

"yes but minors come with sub-categories like infant, toddler, child, teenager, etc" You are right about there being sub categories But just because lets say you go from toddler to full blown kid, 6-7 idk after toddler age. You dont get more rights you are still limited because you are a minor. Why do you think when uou turn into a teenager, 13, you still have to wait to get a job, drop out (bad choice of course), and own a license? Sub categories for people age-wise is used to help organize a group of peoples' age, when all in reality it is just minor and adult. "I'm 13 and I work... I sell in my school" If its a federal job you're working illegally
