You are right about there being sub categories
But just because lets say you go from toddler to full blown kid, 6-7 idk after toddler age. You dont get more rights you are still limited because you are a minor. Why do you think when uou turn into a teenager, 13, you still have to wait to get a job, drop out (bad choice of course), and own a license? Sub categories for people age-wise is used to help organize a group of peoples' age, when all in reality it is just minor and adult.
