My classmates are trying to start a trend

It's been happening for 3 weeks now. The trend they are trying to make is wearing small ass back packs with 2nd grader designs (like Frozen, Charlie Brown, team oomie zoomie, etc) One of the popular kids asked why they were wearing those small back packs. But they only replied saying "Did I give you permission to speak?". "No, he said". Then she was like "that's what I thought." Then she just turned to her friend and talked.

I would be totally cool with them walking around with those, if they want to. But I can't take anybody seriously when he/she plays the ''you don't have permission to speak'' card instead of answering the question. Popular or not, that's just a childish response IMO.
